From April, 2008 I have joined Carnegie UK Trust as a Facilitator of the UK and Republic of Ireland Rural Development Community of Practice. I continue to offer an Action Research continuing professional development course through the University of Strathclyde (5 days spread Sept-Dec) and am a guest lecturer on a number of postgraduate programmes in Human Ecology, Sustainability and Rural Development. My contributions integrate 'head, heart and hand'. Expect group learning, psychological depth, creativity and challenges on your 'learning edge'. My practice as a course leader is grounded in over ten years' experience as a popular education animateur, groupwork/deep ecology workshop facilitator and action learning consultant. From 2005-2008 I developed the following learning programmes: MSc Human Ecology and Action Research CPD with the University of Strathclyde/Centre for Human Ecology. Masters' thesis supervision (link includes information on past supervision projects/feedback). Rural Leadership Programme with Falkland Centre for Stewardship. Get Your Voice Heard with City of Edinburgh Council/ Centre for Human Ecology.

“Excellent facilitation. Grounded in strong theory but illustrative and room for discussion creating clear examples. A great journey” “To be honest I have never had as transformative a weekend” “I was very touched by the depth and attention of your feedback. It seems however completely characteristic of the way you have gone about creating and facilitating the course, with love and dedication, and it has been a real privilege to work with you” John Crace writing in The Guardian, 18th Oct. 2005, "Protest and Revise" article here
