Next, we co-initiate a programme of action research that attends to the current concerns and learning edges of key stakeholders, with a design informed by appropriate process tools and change theory.

As this community of practice matures, authentic leadership in service of people and planet can flourish.

NOTE:

From April, 2008 I have joined Carnegie UK Trust as a Facilitator of the UK and Republic of Ireland Rural Development Community of Practice.

I continue to offer an Action Research continuing professional development course through the University of Strathclyde (5 days spread Sept - Dec) and undertake a limited number of engagements beyond my primary work with the Carnegie UK Trust.

My professional practice is grounded in over ten years' experience in popular education, groupwork faciliation and action learning/research consultancy.

I am a Teaching Fellow with the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow and a doctoral student with the University of Bath Management School's Centre for Action Research in Professional Practice.
