We start by discussing the purpose of your work, and the transformation you intend to catalyse. Next, we co-initiate a programme of action research that attends to the current concerns and learning edges of key stakeholders, with a design informed by appropriate process tools and change theory. As this community of practice matures, authentic leadership in service of people and planet can flourish. NOTE: From April, 2008 I have joined Carnegie UK Trust as a Facilitator of the UK and Republic of Ireland Rural Development Community of Practice. I continue to offer an Action Research continuing professional development course through the University of Strathclyde (5 days spread Sept - Dec) and undertake a limited number of engagements beyond my primary work with the Carnegie UK Trust.
